From your FirstClass Desktop
(after login) click
on the
“Technology Helpdesk” icon:

Click on the “Workorder
Submission” icon:

From the window that appears,
click on New Work Order:

The dropdown box on next screen
gives several options -
choose "Device Repair - ID known":

On the next screen, you must enter
the last four digits of the barcode number of the problem computer into
the Inventory ID box. This ID number is found on the left side of all
desktops and computer towers on the sticker that indicates “Property of SAU16”.
Remember - just enter the last 4 digits:

The next window will display
information about the computer.
You must fill out the following information:

1. From Select Contact Name
box on left, your name should appear since you signed into FirstClass -
select it.
2. From Where is Device box
on right, select: On Site
3. Enter a description of the
problem into the bottom box - please give the error message if possible or
more than "it doesn't work" but technical terms aren't necessary:

Press the <Submit> button when you
are ready.
Wait a minute - a box will pop up
that says "Work Order Submitted". Press <ok>. You will also receive an
e-mail with your work order details. |
